Research
My research deals with metacognition and consciousness. At the meta-level, I am particularly interested in the formation of confidence investigating domain-general and domain-specific processes as well as its neural correlates. I also investigate the consequences of pathologies (such as Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease) on metacognitive ability in relation with cognitive impairments. At lower levels, I am interested in the neural bases of conscious experience.
