Axel Cleeremans awarded the John-Ernest Solvay Prize

The F.R.S.-FNRS has announced that Axel Cleeremans has been awarded the 2015 Ernest-John Solvay Scientific Prize for Human and Social Sciences — one of the five quinquennial prizes the fund administers.

These prestigious scientific distinctions are awarded every five years. They confirm international recognition and constitute the crowning achievement of the career of researchers from the French-speaking community of Belgium, in all scientific disciplines.

Previous recipients in the domain of psychology include Marc Richelle (ULg, 1986-1990), Paul Bertelson (ULB, 1991-1995), and Xavier Seron (UCL, 1996-2000).

The award ceremony will take place on November 30th, 2015.
