Grégory Hammad - The many rhythms of locomotor activity

    Grégory Hammad, Université de Liège

Under healthy conditions, many physiological signals exhibit a complex regulation occurring at multiple time scales. Therefore, it is possible to gain insights about the physiological state by studying this regulation process. In this talk, we will present highlights of our latest studies with a focus on the analysis of locomotor activity; from the assessment of the 24h rest-activity patterns during ageing and the analysis of ultradian inactivity rhythms during sleep in infants, to the fractal regulation of locomotor activity in patients with Alzheimer's disease.
