Research

During my PhD (University of Cambridge), I did research on possible parallels between reading strategies in music and in language. At the ULB, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the project entitled Text designs for the facilitation of reading: A cross-domain study of linguistic and musical approaches. The project is led by Prof. Regine Kolinsky and is funded by the Fondation Wiener-Anspach. I also collaborate closely with the Centre for Music and Science, Directed by Prof. I. Cross, at the University of Cambridge and, more recently, with the Music Faculty at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. My main research themes are the interactions between language and music, the facilitation of reading through text design, and musical literacy.
