Hello, I’m Medha, a post-doc working with Prof. Axel Cleeremans as a part of the EXPERIENCE ERC project. My work will focus on investigating the role of valence in conscious experiences using a combination of behavioral experiments, neuroimaging and computational modeling.
Before coming to Brussels, I was a PhD student and later a post doc at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. There, I studied the neural and computational mechanisms underlying metacognitive judgements. I’m broadly interested in understanding the neuro-computational mechanisms that give rise to subjective experiences.
