Research
After completing a research Master’s in Brain and Cognition at Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, I began my PhD in November 2024 at the Neuropsychology and Functional Neuroimaging Research Unit (UR2NF) and the Laboratoire de Neuroanatomie et Neuroimagerie Translationnelles (LN2T), under the supervision of Prof. Alison Mary.
My main interest lies in the cognitive neuroscience of aging, and my doctoral project investigates how transcutaneous auricular vagal nerve stimulation (taVNS) can enhance memory consolidation during wakefulness and sleep across different age groups. Using multimodal approaches, including high-density EEG, fMRI, neuromelanin-sensitive MRI, pupillometry, and heart–brain coupling measures, I aim to assess the potential of this non-invasive intervention for supporting memory and healthy cognitive aging.
