My research concerns human approximate numerical abilities and the way numerosity is apprehended when using such abilities.
More precisely we study the following question:
Does there exist an apprehension system that is specific to numerosity, the approximate number system (ANS) ? Or to the contrary does numerosity apprehension result from a unique global magnitude perception system (numbers, duration, length,…) ?
