Irene Cogliati Dezza has joined the CS4S lab at the CRCN with an ULB chair non-profilée permanent position in autumn 2024. Now she has received an ERC starting grant, congratulations to both, Irene!

 

Her 5-year project WiseSeek will explore how we consume media, and in particular social media content. Is there something specific to how we consume negative news? And how does the constant exposure to negative news impact our mental well-being? Irene will use a wide range of techniques including surveys, computational models and state-of-the-art neuroscience to conduct this project, set to start in 2026.
