New book edited and co-written by CRCN members

“Implicit Learning: 50 Years On” is a collection of chapters around the topic of implicit learning and consciousness edited by Axel Cleeremans, Viktor Allakhverdov, and Maria Kuvaldina. Beyond a recapitulation of the history of research in implicit learning, the book provides insights into current topics of conditioning, associative learning, the formation of memory and its consolidation, and cognitive development, amongst others. The CRCN is further represented by Estibaliz San Anton (CRCN alumni), Axel Cleeremans and Arnaud Destrebecqz as authors of the chapter “Can we play Space Invaders unconsciously? (A: probably not).”, in which they discuss the rise of rule awareness in associative learning.
