The CRCN is delighted to annonce that Fabienne Chetail has obtained a tenured professorship in the Faculty of Psychology Sciences and Education. Fabienne will initiate her activity in this new role at the CRCN, beginning October 1st, 2014.

 

After she obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Bordeaux, Fabienne came to Brussels in 2009 for a post-doc with Alain Content. Enchanted by the work conditions and friendly atmosphere at the CRCN, she ended up staying longer than originally planned in Brussels, with a three-year Research Associate grant from the F.R.S-FNRS. In June 2014, she was one of only two lucky people to be selected amongst many young and bright researchers from all faculties. She can now settle in Brussels and at the LCLD, which she sees as the perfect place to conduct her many research projects on reading mechanisms and visual word recognition.
