Research

Irene Cogliati Dezza is a PhD student supported by fNRS grant. She studies decision-making process in the light of exploration and exploitation dilemma: having to choose between predictably rewarding familiar options (exploitation) and risky novel options (exploration) in both healthy and clinical population (i.e., addictive disorders) using neuroimaging and behavioral approaches. She is also working on computational models (e.g., reinforcement learning models) simulating decision-making processes behind the dilemma.
